trump (small man, small ‘t’) pulled us out of WHO recently. When’s he going to pull us out of PAHO. After all, PAHO is doing all the things this small man hates, including:

• Member States adopt policy to strengthen health sector in the face of climate change, focusing on vulnerable populations and equity,
• PAHO joins Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty,
• World Health Assembly agreement reached on wide-ranging, decisive package of amendments to improve the International Health Regulations,
• PAHO launches Vaccination Week,
• WHO, St. Jude, PAHO launch groundbreaking international delivery of childhood cancer medicines,
• Haiti receives 500,000 vaccines donated by the United States through COVAX.

Maybe no one told him what PAHO is or that its HQ is only 3600 feet from the White House. Maybe he’ll demand they drop the “P” in PAHO. Who knows.
