I started my own little literary tour of New England authors at the end of 2022. My last visit and blog entry about this tour was in July 2023. Finally, yesterday, I was able to add a new site to the tour. This one: Arrowhead. Herman Melville’s home in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where he penned Moby Dick and never imagined someone would sell t-shirts printed with the words, “Call me Ishmael.”

Three more visits and I’m done. The missing are: Robert Frost (NH), Henry Longfellow (MA), and Arthur Miller (CT).
